Day 1 Today we learnt how to use an icon and what it is, how to use robot buttons. Our group figured out how to make our robot move, we discussed our song, theme and props. We made our robot talk and laugh. :)
Day 2 Pedestrain Challenge We figured how long one wheel rotation is and then figured out for the limit roughly 8 turns. WE GOT 9 POINTS!!! ALMOST 9 AND A HALF!!! :) :) :)
Day 3 360 degree turn We learnt how to do a full 360 degree turn! Our problem solving was to make it higher and lower each time until we got it perfect.
Day 4 Snake Our group had to change ALOT to get it right! We just couldn't figure out what we were doing wrong. We ended up not getting it finished. But better luck next week!!!
Day 5 Snake We now know how to make it go backwards. We had the time on our turns so they won't do a full loop. We got it PERFECTLY right on the way forward!!! Now adjusting for our robot to go backwards... PERFECT!!!! WE GOT A 5/5!!!!!
Day 6 Now working on our shimy because we finished our snake!!! We found this challange easy and once again scored a perfect score of 5/5!!! For our shimmi we put the speed up to 100 which was very effective and will look great in our dance!!! We also changed our song to moves like jagger because we thought the moves we've done would suit it MUCH better!!!
Day 7 Shape Today we are working on the shape! We have decided to go for the full marks by doing something tricky- a decagon! Through this lesson we were having alot of trouble and found it too hard, so we then moved on to the triangle. While atempting the triangle we created an awsome move which we can put in our dance!!!- but still no triangle, that was our lesson up :( We will try again next week.
Day 8 Shape We have decided that we should just do an easy shape like a square - although it will not score us full marks we will be able to get onto our dance. We ended up completeing the square and scored all the marks a square was able to get 3.5! Which we were still happy with!
Day 9 Dance!!! Toady we got to start on our dance!!! We are really looking forward to this part! We all dicussed moves, looks, outfits and what we wanted to include. We got a bit of the starting done and that was it because we didn't have that much time.
Day 10 We had a look over our dance and remade the start to go better with the music! Now it looks really good.
Day 11 Today we wrote a list of our dance and what it would look like so we know exactly what it looks like! We are ready for next week when we will dowload it to the computer and show it to everyone!
